This Just In: UN Run by Thieves. The John Birch Society could not make up a better anti-UN story than this. According to a Time report on-lin, the workers at the UN restaurants staged a walk-out right in the middle of an official lunc by the SG, Kofi Annan. An Annan deputy ordered the restaurant doors opened, and the staff ran amuck, ransacking and looting all of the restaurants. These people want us to take them seriously, to help rebuild Iraq. But now we know why they want to go: when they saw the poor desperate people of Iraq walking off with everything the government owned, they were envious.
