I certainly have to thank Rascal Flats for all that they have done for this blog. If you found your way here by looking for something on "I Melt," please scroll down to July 18's post just below, and you will probably find what you are looking for.

If you are interested in a full discussion of the pressing issues regarding our administration in Iraq, you should also scroll down and read whatever pops up. But this morning's paper brings a thorough rehashing of all the issues involved, so please click here and read everything very thoroughly. That is the humble recommendation of A Mind That Suits.

The one interesting thing to add is that one of the authors, Niall Ferguson, has been very popular with the left because of a book he wrote called Empire, in which he--juding by the reviews--says clearly that the United States has an empire. The left of course took this as criticism, but increasingly it is beginning to look as if Mr. Ferguson, rightly or wrongly, thinks this is a good thing. It is something that A Mind That Suits is going to have to ponder carefully.
