A Mind That Suits What doesn't kill me, makes me laugh... usually.

It is the first genuinely lovely day in Washington in several days, and A Mind That Suits has a lot to do on this beautiful Saturday, nearly all of it, alas, indoors. It is not particularly humid, the sun in shining, a gentle breeze is blowing, and the termperature is perfect. The truth is, Washington summers are highly variable, and you can get a whole string of days like this. So far, this year, we haven't. We had an incredibly wet and cold Spring which, true to form, issued forth into an incredibly wet and muggy summer. A Mind That Suits has experienced horrible Junes followed by tolerable Julys and blamy Augusts,so he is holds out hope that today is a harbinger of a glorious end to summer. A Mind That Suits has also lived here 22 years, and holds out very little hope that it will, to quote Howard Cosell, eventuate that way. And it is fated that he will miss most of today, so he wishes you all a happy weekend, and looks forward to having you all stop in come Monday.

Cheers!
