A Mind That Suits
What doesn't kill me, makes me laugh... usually.

A reaction to the startling reversal of policy in Iraq over an independent Iraqi militia--announced yesterday--is percolating through the system. We used to oppose the idea, and now suddenly we don't. This is a major shift.
But this morning brings news that reminds us all that the biggest advantage George W. Bush has going into 2004 is that he will be running against a Democrat. A memo in which a Senate Intelligence Committee (Democratic) staff member outlined ways to go after the Administration on pre-war intelligence failures has surfaced, and it does not really make the Democrats look very good. There is a not so fine line between wanting the truth to come out and transforming an important investigation into a campaign tool. The Democrats appear to have hopped over it. With the economy percolating along the way it is, the Democrats are just handing the election back to W, not to mention violating the public trust.
