Thank Heavens For Tony Blair.
President Bush appeared to contradict Sec. Rumsfeld--and apparently to the shock of his own aidea--by suggesting that he is waiting to see on how many troops we need. He said this after a meeting with Mr. Blair. If you have to have socialists, he's the kind we need.
Unfortunately, the President also cited the clearly ridiculous figure of 130,00 "trained" Iraqi troops. That figure keeps going up, but the last reliable reports had the training sliced to two weeks, which makes it not training. So who gets the Presidents' ear still counts a LOT.
