A Mind That Suits
What doesn't kill me, makes me laugh... usually.

This writer has yet to see a coherent defense of "Liberation Light" that includes all of the facts that are already out for all to see. The implication is that it is indeed indefensible. Nearly all of the issues involved were neatly summed up in this paragrahp from yesterday's edition of the nearly indispensible Washington Post, about the departure of chief weapons inspector David Kay, of the Kay Report fame:
The move comes as more of Kay's staff has been diverted from the weapons hunt to help search for Iraqi insurgents, and at a time when expectations remain low that any weaponry will be discovered.
The insurgents of course are rapidly becoming less of a problem--as the Chief Insurgent has been revealed as wimp and bully who wouldn't even fight--but the whole search for WMD has been dogged by this kind of extraneous nonsense. It is a real pity. And this is the kind of thing that should have been planned out.
