Ending the string of thoughts on this little bit of silliness: Entirely understandable, it turns out, is CBS's apparent disbelief in MTV's assurances that that extra little bit of Janet that we saw at halftime was unplanned. Her choreographer had promised something shocking, they were singing that song of Justin's that ends "I'm gonna see you naked at the end of this song," and Janet was wearing a pastie, which a news agency described as a "sun-shaped nipple decoration." Now how did that get there?
