A Mind That Suits What doesn't kill me, makes me laugh... usually.

There's an introduction to this most distinguished blog in the next post.

Just one thought for today, on that most depressing of subjects: WMD. Not WMDs. Why?

WMD is a plural. It stands for "weaponS of mass destruction."

WMDs would be "weapons of mass destructionS," which is not possible its the weapons that are plural, not the destruction. Besides, destruction can never be "plural," as it is what is known technically as a "mass" or "non-count" noun, such as "money," "honey," and "time."

So WMD it is. Or they are. Or something.

It's a plural.
