A Mind That Suits What doesn't kill me, makes me laugh... usually.

Saturday, July 03, 2004 :::

A Mind That Suits clicked on an article on MSNBC about the future of e-mail. There was a conference on e-mail technologies, and the speakers seemed to agree that spam and spyware and such made e-mail less attractive, particularly as other ways of communicating are developing. And, on trying to click back to the MSN mainpage, he found that he had picked up an ad for "anti"-spyware software, an ad that he could not get rid of. If he hit the little "x," or the box marked "no," he still got directed to a new websight spouting "anti"-spyware software. Hmmmm....

He uses Spybot, Spy Assasin, Pest Patrol, and ContentWatch. And still he is not safe.
